Why do we use clocks?
Clocks are used to make it fair for everyone. Games last approximately 45-50 minutes when using timers. If you are not used to using a clock, do not worry. Most everyone gets used to the idea of hitting the button after completing their turn by the end of the first evening.
Is there a fee to join?
There is no fee to join the club, however, there is a $5.00 per night (per person) fee, to cover the fees the library charges for rental of the club room.
What do I need to bring with me?
The club provides several sets of boards and timers. Many of our players have their own Scrabble boards, tiles, racks and timers. Even though there are usually enough boards to go around, it is always a good idea to have your own equipment handy...just in case!
